Marilyn taught poetry and poetics for fifteen years at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and was recently appointed to the advisory board of the Low-Residency MFA Program in Creative Writing at Western State College, Gunnison, Colorado.  She currently serves as a Contributing Editor for The Writer magazine, where her articles on craft appear bi-monthly.
